Since the end of last year we have seen an order in nations and places that have been closed to the Holy Gospel for decades, which now, at this time, will be open doors for salvation to enter. In the year eleven, disorganization and instability reigned in the nations, just as God announced, so that He may now establish His order.
Let us pause for a moment and make a qualitative assessment of the number 12, through what the Holy Bible reveals. The number twelve is part of the four numbers called perfect, which show divine perfection in four fundamental aspects, namely: His person, His being, His order, and His kingdom. The first of these numbers is 3, which reveals divine perfection: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, eternal covenant. The number 7 is spiritual perfection. The number 10 speaks of the perfection of divine order; and the number 12 shows the perfection of the Kingdom of God, or governmental perfection.
When the Bible speaks of twelve it almost always alludes to government, to kingdom, to regime. For example, when God constituted His people Israel He did so with twelve tribes that represent the children of Israel. And even when Israel adopted the sons of Joseph, the twelve was not lost, because then they spoke of the half-tribes of Manasseh and Ephraim, and Joseph is not mentioned. Everything relating to the children of Israel is represented with the twelve. For example, twelve spies; twelve pillars of the temple; twelve stones, twelve rods according to the houses of the tribes of Israel; Solomon divided the kingdom into twelve provinces and placed twelve governors over them. We find the same symbolism in the New Covenant, when the Lord Jesus referred to twelve legions of angels that represent the perfect government of the angels, the perfect army of God, in case He wished to be delivered from death. Also, He chose twelve disciples who were later constituted twelve apostles, who will also sit on twelve thrones, to judge the twelve tribes of Israel. That is to say, the New Covenant will reign over the Old Covenant, the twelve apostles over the twelve tribes of Israel.
Last year we saw that one of the meanings of 11 is that it represents the incomplete. The children of Israel became incomplete with the disappearance of Joseph, and were completed when he appeared, integrating the 12 again. So Joseph represents the 11 and the 12. Of the twelve apostles, Judas betrayed the Lord and made the apostolic government incomplete. However, Joseph disappeared when he was betrayed, but Judas disappeared because he betrayed. Joseph was included in the twelve when he appeared, but Judas lost his bishopric and another replaced him. This year the same thing is going to happen prophetically. God is going to remove people in the context of the church in general. The house of God is built on twelve pillars, so those pillars that have weakened and are damaging the building of God will be removed. There cannot be weakness in the government of God, and just as Judas made himself unworthy and lost his bishopric and another took his place.
We have seen that in secular government, regimes of many years have been overthrown, and the God who removes and sets up kings announces that He will continue deposing, and just as in the world administrations have been removed, so also in the church everyone who betrays the divine purpose will be removed. For many ministers the mantle will be torn, but others will go through what Joseph did, who had apparently disappeared and were no longer in the picture; they were eclipsed, they were not seen, but they were flourishing in secret, and no one knew about them. Suddenly these men and women of God whom many already considered “dead,” whom many thought would never again have ministries, will appear on the scene like Joseph, to be preservers of peoples and of purposes. The God who removed in the 11 will complete in the 12. And in the way Joseph appeared, a fruitful branch that bore fruit in a foreign land, they will appear. Those servants of God who like Joseph were slandered, betrayed by their own brothers, will appear like the star of Bethlehem that gladdened the heart of the magi upon finding it again, or as Joseph’s brothers rejoiced to see that their brother was alive, and in the same way we will rejoice to see those ministers flourishing, preserving, and being backed by God.
Likewise, the twelve appears as government in nature. We see that in the Beginning God created the sun to rule by day, and the moon to rule by night. The year is divided into twelve months. The day has twelve hours and the night twelve. In the day it is the sun that determines the time for us, and the moon in the case of the night. God governs every day and every night and every year and every century, for He inhabits eternity and His dominion is everlasting and His kingdom is for all ages. “The heavens tell the glory of God, And the firmament proclaims the work of His hands. 2 Day pours forth speech to day, And night to night declares wisdom. 3 There is no language, nor words, Nor is their voice heard. 4 Their voice went out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He set a tabernacle for the sun; 5 And it, like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, Rejoices like a giant to run its course. 6 From one end of the heavens is its going out, And its circuit to the ends of them; And nothing is hidden from its heat” (Psalms 19:1-6). So God made it, everything with understanding, everything with wisdom. Christ is the sun of righteousness and is the light that gives light to every man who comes into this world. He is the sun of righteousness who brings salvation in His wings. And if Christ is the sun, the church is the moon. The moon has no light of its own, but receives it from the sun, and projects it onto the earth in the dark part of the day. So the church receives light from Christ to shine on this world that is in darkness. By day Christ shines, by night the church shines; that is why He made us the light of the world. The glory of God illuminates the church, and the Lamb is its lamp (Revelation 21:23). The church reigns because Christ reigns. Jesus Christ is the Lord of time. Today is the day of Jehovah!
These are the days of retribution, days when the powers of the heavens will be shaken and very soon we will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory (Luke 21). Therefore, the first instruction that we as a spiritual house receive this year is that every day, when we leave our homes, we lift up our heads and look up, to the sky, with expectation, so that the word of the Lord may be fulfilled: “When these things begin to happen, stand up and lift up your head, because your redemption is near” (Luke 21:28). Hallelujah! The God of time governs! Today is the day of Jehovah, and the year that begins is the year of Jehovah’s good will and the day of vengeance of our God! (Isaiah 61:2).
In the year 2012, God fulfills the verses that gave life to this ministry of “El Amanecer de la Esperanza”: “Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of Jehovah has risen upon you. 2 For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the nations; but upon you Jehovah will dawn, and His glory will be seen upon you” (Isaiah 60:1-2). The prophetic word that Jehovah spoke through His servant Isaiah will also be fulfilled in the world: “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, light has shone upon them” (Isaiah 9:2), because the sun of righteousness will illuminate it every day; every day of this year the government of God will be seen on the earth.
Returning to the numerical symbolism of the 12, let us look for a moment at the kingdom of Solomon, where the twelve abounded. Solomon had twelve governors who administered twelve provinces; Solomon also made a molten sea for the priests to wash in, which stood on twelve oxen, three of which faced north, three west, three south, and three east (1 Kings 7:25-26; 2 Chronicles 4:6). Solomon also made a great throne of ivory overlaid with gold, which stood on top of six steps, and on each of them there were two lions, one on each side, which added up to twelve (1 Kings 10:18-20). We can affirm that the kingdom of Solomon was a kingdom of glory, and where there is glory the government of God reigns.
Only the government of Christ, where the twelve also prevails, surpasses that of Solomon, on earth and in heaven. For example, the great holy city of Jerusalem, which John saw descending out of heaven, from God, had a great and high wall with twelve gates; and at the gates, twelve angels, and names inscribed, which are those of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel; the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. The city lies foursquare, and its length is as great as its breadth; and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand stadia; the length, the height, and the breadth of it are equal, totaling twelve (Revelation 21:9-27). Also the 144 thousand sealed represent twelve thousand sealed from each tribe of Israel (Revelation 7:4). In the kingdom of Solomon, everything was of finest gold, which represented the excellence of this kingdom, in which God had given riches and wisdom in excess, but in the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ, everything was made, not of finest gold, but of pure gold. The temple of Solomon had glory, but in the city of the Great King the glory of God dwells in it and is what lights it and shines in it. The kingdom of Solomon was a kingdom of glory and the twelve prevailed, that is, the government; the kingdom of Christ is a kingdom of glory and the twelve prevails. Where there is kingdom there is glory and where there is glory there must be kingdom, the kingdom is related to justice and justice is obedience to the will of God. There will never be government if the kingdom of God is not lived. The kingdom of Christ is a perfect kingdom because the glory of God abounds.
Note that where the glory of the kingdom of God abounds, the twelve abounds, and that is a great spiritual lesson for us. Today in the church there is much talk of glory, they preach glory, pray for glory, proclaim glory, confess glory, but there will never be glory of God if God does not reign. When Jesus said: “… behold, the kingdom of God is among you” (Luke 17:21), it is the government of Christ, whose scepter is the scepter of justice (Psalms 45:6). Justice is obedience to the commandments of God; justice is everything that is in harmony and in accord with the will of God. When John refused to baptize Christ, He said to him: “Permit it now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness” (Matthew 3:15). The kingdom of Christ is a kingdom of obedience. “Not everyone who says to me: Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day: Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many miracles? 23 And then I will declare to them: I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of iniquity” (Matthew 7:21-23). Where God governs, there is His kingdom, and therefore His glory is seen. When the government of God prevails there is glory of God, therefore, if we want glory let us say: Your kingdom come!
This is the year of the Kingdom of God, because it is the year of the government of God. In this year the knowledge of the kingdom is going to spread and the earth will be filled with the gospel of the kingdom of Christ. Where there is glory there is government, and where there is government of God there is glory. That is why the church is in deplorable condition, because there is no government of God, but man reigns, which is the spirit of Saul, who always seeks to please the people, and considers obeying God of little importance. Where man reigns God does not reign. God reigns only where He is obeyed. Obedience makes it easy for God to do with the church what He has purposed to do.
The Spirit declares that this is the year of the government of God, where He will reign and will impose the rod of His power on nations and on the church. But He will have to subdue and impose His will, for many do not want to serve Him voluntarily. But the Lord will govern! A healthy church is a church clothed with the sun, clothed with glory, but for that church to be a healthy and glorious church it has to obey Christ. The bride of the Lamb has the twelve everywhere on her garment, which means that Jehovah reigns in the church, in the people who have submitted to Him voluntarily in the day of His power. A church will never be glorious if the government of God does not prevail in it. If God is not obeyed, and we do not submit to Him, and in our personal life, in our families and in our churches, we make our decisions based on our own criteria or on the philosophy that reigns in the world and not according to the Word or according to Christ. Then, if the Lord Jesus Christ does not reign, and if He does not reign there is no glory. This teaching is interesting for us because God has spoken to us, prophetically, as the house of God, that the next building we are going to build will represent the glory of Solomon, and that it will be the most dangerous time for us because Solomon stumbled over glory. Selah
In 1 Kings 11:29-35, we see the account of when the prophet Ahijah the Shilonite was sent by God to Jeroboam, because Jehovah had determined to divide the kingdom of Israel, because Solomon had turned away from God and turned his heart to other gods. The prophet, at the moment of prophesying, took the new cloak he had on, and tore it into 12 pieces, saying: “… thus says Jehovah, the God of Israel: Behold, I will tear the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and to you I will give ten tribes…” (1 Kings 11:31). That kingdom where there was authority of God and where all the kings of the earth were amazed at its fame. But Solomon began by glorifying God, but ended by worshiping Baals. Solomon went out of the government of God, and God took him out of his kingdom. And the Holy Spirit insists that I apply this Word, saying that God will do the same in the government of the church in general, in the nations. The Lord will confront ministers who obeyed for a time, but then slipped and went back to the government of men, straying in their steps, they have turned aside, and so the Lord will take their mantles and tear them, because they did not reign in the fear of God nor give Him glory. As He did with Solomon, in the same way God will do with many ministers and churches because they have left God, to follow the current of this age, the evangelical ecclesiastical culture that is not necessarily that of God. Ministers who profess to be of God and are not, those who say they are apostles and are not, God is going to unmask them. Jehovah will uncover congregations of those who say they are Jews, and are not, but a synagogue of Satan, He will depose them, and will divide their mantles.
Note that Solomon had God’s backing until he turned aside, so many who had the authority of God, but played with His honor, and took it for themselves, will be dishonored, and their mantles divided, and in their place will be the true servants of God. We will see many famous names being put to shame, destroyed, and their empires collapsed. There are those who use the authority of God to profit, and make slaves of the servants of God, to enlarge their ministries. That is why we see how the prosperity doctrine has brought many evils to the gospel of Christ, but God will appear in a whirlwind, with wrath, with indignation, as He did with Job, to call for an account, and He will break many mantles and human thrones. Some like Saul will try to grasp the mantle, and will tear it, because it has already been determined by God to tear the “kingdom” from their hands to give it to one better than they (1 Samuel 15:28). Yes, great ministries will be humbled, dishonored, and their churches divided because they did not let the King of kings and Lord of lords govern. All those who walk pompously will be turned back, and will be greatly ashamed and confounded, for every plant that our Heavenly Father did not plant will be uprooted. Many whom God has honored by placing them in authority and glory He will judge, and their mantles will be cut and the Lord is going to depose them to replace them. It will be a year when the sentinels who have fallen asleep on the wall will be relieved. The watchtowers will be removed. God reigns in obedience.
The Lord comes with zeal to establish order in His church. God is going to impose His will in the year 2012 and will fulfill Psalm 110 and Psalm 2, because He will set His King on His Holy Mountain, which is the church, and will say to Jesus: Reign over the nations. The Lord will call for an account both those who govern in His church and those in civil government.
In this year 2012 the experience of Nebuchadnezzar that is narrated in the book of Daniel, chapter 2, will be fulfilled. Nebuchadnezzar made a statue to represent his kingdom, as an endless kingdom, rebelling against God, who had already revealed to him what would come after him. However, God gave him twelve months of grace (just as He gives twelve months of grace in 2012 to the church and the nations), but when the time was up, at the moment when he exalted himself, in that very instant Nebuchadnezzar went mad. Then Daniel describes that a great stone was cut out, not with hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and baked clay, and crushed them, in such a way that the wind carried them away without leaving any trace. But the stone that struck the image became a great mountain that filled the whole earth, (Daniel 2:34-35), and that stone is Christ, the unshakable rock. In the same way, in this year God will be tearing down and striking systems and administrations. This year a number of renowned men will also die, and do not attribute it to the Central Intelligence Agency or to cancer or AIDS, but to the God of all flesh who has risen from His throne to bring the nations to judgment and humble the peoples.
In this year God is going to strike until He destroys the god of riches, Mammon, and then He will assail technology, Hollywood, and all the gods of this age, with a strange work, a very strange one. He is going to call the birds of the sky to come to Megiddo, to eat in Armageddon the flesh of kings, because He is going to bring down thrones and in the church He is going to tear mantles and in the world He is going to bring down gods and turn them into plagues, until they know that Jehovah is God. And when the Lord is punishing the nations, the Spirit warns you, church: “Do not get involved; step aside!, because they deserve it, for they left Me to go after their gods; and they worshiped luxury, pomp, vanity, pleasure, sex. They left Me, to go after the sciences, therefore I will trouble the scientific world and will bring confusion in the international media.
Last year, God made me look at something I had written in the year 1996, in the midst of a great tribulation that I suffered for 120 days. And in that prophetic inspiration, I began to write about Mexico, what God was telling me and which I thought would be fulfilled that year or the next. The Lord told me: “I am going to punish Mexico for its idolatry, and it will become an ungovernable nation, there will be violence of every kind”>. Church, do not doubt it, there is a God who reigns and who has the demons for the evil day. God uses the devil to punish and even to test, as He did with Job (Job 2:6). He looses the demons from the abysses (Revelation 20:3). He used a demon to confuse Ahab with lying prophets (1 Kings 22:20-23). Many will try to make alliances, but all will fail. The year 12 will be not only the year of Jehovah, but the day of Jehovah. The time of God is not a day of 24 hours, but a determined period in which transcendental events will take place on this planet such as have never been seen before.
God also speaks today to the godly, to those who have taken up the cross of Christ and follow Him, through the allegory of two women who represent two churches. Luke 8:41 onward shows us, first, a girl, about twelve years old, who was dying; and a woman who had suffered from a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent on physicians all that she had, and by none could be healed. While awaiting divine intervention, the dying young girl dies, and the woman who is bleeding, full of faith, touches the hem of Jesus’ garment, in the midst of a crushing crowd, and is instantly healed. The Master, after questioning her and seeing that her faith had saved her, enters the house of Jairus, and goes to the dead girl and exclaimed: “Girl, arise.” Then her spirit returned and she immediately arose. This is the application:
There is a young church, which is twelve years old, that is dying and died; and an older church, that has suffered for twelve years from an illness, and was healed. So the church has sought so much help and has not found it, but in the year twelve, it will manage to touch the mantle of Jesus, and virtue will go out from Him and she will be healed. The other church, which is dead, to which the Spirit will return to give life. The mantle healed the sick church, and the Word resurrected the dead church.
In this year 2012, Psalm 33 will be fulfilled prophetically: “For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood. 10 Jehovah brings the counsel of the nations to nothing, And frustrates the plans of the peoples” (Psalms 33:9-10). The mantle represents divine authority, His power. The Word symbolizes the Spirit who brings life. When Jesus spoke for the first time, at twelve years of age, He said: “… I must be about my Father’s business” (Luke 2:49). When I am about my Father’s business, the word of God is fulfilled in my life. This is the year of the Word, let us fill ourselves with the Word, let us study the Word, let us meditate on the Word, because we are going to depend on every word that proceeds from the mouth of Jehovah. This is the year in which we will have to confess the Word and in which we will need to be strengthened in the Word. In the business of our Father it behooves us to be, because when we look to the sky, like Elijah, we will see the little cloud that now will bring not water, but the glory of Jehovah. Let us lift up our heads, for our redemption is near. Amen.
