Our Story
A Sunrise of Hope for New York
In 1983, Pastor Juan Radhamés Fernández began a radio program at six in the morning. As he prayed about its name, he saw a sunrise, and when he was asked what the city needed, he answered: hope. That is how “El Amanecer de la Esperanza” was born.
In March 1986, a group of brothers and sisters who followed the message on the radio began to meet in a home in the Bronx, with one longing: a church where God is all in all.

Vision and Mission
Our Vision
The restoration of the worship of God and of the government of God in the church, and the proclamation of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our Mission
To testify to the lordship of Christ and the restoration of all things, “that God may be all in all” (1 Corinthians 15:28).

Our Pastor
Pastor Juan Radhamés Fernández
He was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, and gave his life to Christ at the age of 16. He studied theology in Puerto Rico and, once in New York, began in 1983 the radio program that gave the ministry its name. Since 1986 he has pastored it together with a government of elders, and he has ministered in the United States, the Caribbean, South America, and Europe.
He is the author of Manual of Life in the Spirit and That God May Be All in All (2003 and 2004 SEPA awards) and of The Honor of the Ministry.
