“The Spirit of the Kingdom thinks of God first.”
Juan R. Fernández, The Honor of the Ministry
Diaconate
They serve in every task needed to maintain the physical cleanliness of the church facilities and officiate during the gatherings of the saints, for the general order of whatever activity is taking place.
Altar (Musical Worship)
This ministry leads the congregation in raising up an altar of worship to God. Its goal is (rationally and with every expression of the heart), to present a living offering to the Lord, with psalms, hymns, spiritual songs, and musical expressions; and that it may burn until it is completely consumed (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16). Each of the members ministers to the Lord with a heart overflowing with gratitude and humility, because they have understood that by grace they have been saved. Since the aim of worship is to please the Lord, those who minister at the altar must honor God with their lives and ministry. Therefore, everyone with this calling must first be examined and then approved before going up to the altar.
Help and Services
This ministry seeks to meet every material need (clothing, food, household goods, moving, interpreters, household chores, etc.) of the family of faith, according to the testimony of the Holy Spirit and under pastoral supervision. It also provides food for the community. In this way they bring the glory of the Lord with honor, through good works.
Communication
Uses the media (TV, radio, audio, video, the internet, publications, etc.) to spread the Word of God through the message of restoration, and to edify the body of Jesus Christ with the message of the life of the Kingdom of God among the nations.
Prisons
Visits inmates in prisons who are relatives of members of the congregation, upon request and as the need warrants. It pastors, holds services, and teaches the Word in various prisons, establishing the Kingdom of God behind bars.
Fellowship
This ministry assists at any social gathering held at the church that involves food service (koinonias, pastors’ meetings, weddings). Its purpose is to strengthen fellowship among the members of the congregation and thus foster the unity of the body of Christ Jesus.
Congregational Care
Watches over the needs of the congregation in general and informs the Ministries responsible for addressing those needs. It welcomes those who accept the Lord as their personal Savior, those who are reconciled to Him, and the newly baptized. In addition, it ‘pastors’ the congregation through visits and correspondence.
Intercession
Dedicated to interceding unceasingly, with strong supplication in the Spirit, on behalf of EVERY need; first for the local body, then at the national level, and finally at the worldwide level. In addition to the 48 brothers and sisters assigned to cover in prayer each of the 24 hours of the day, there is simultaneously another group of intercessors at the church during the same hours, ministering to anyone who is in need.
Missionary / Evangelistic
Through tracts, evangelistic campaigns on the street, and personal work with relatives and friends (letters, phone calls, etc.), it plants the banner of the Kingdom of God everywhere and reaches souls, proclaiming that only Christ saves and heals.
Children
Through instruction, it guides children to a personal and real encounter with Jesus, so that they may have a childhood filled with the Holy Spirit. Likewise, their spiritual, emotional, and physical needs are attended to through spiritual gatherings, as well as social and recreational activities inside and outside the church.
Rehabilitation
First, they serve as spiritual and emotional support for the saved who have, or have had, bondage to any kind of addiction (drugs, alcohol, sexual deviations, prostitution, gambling, betting, etc.). They also seek out people (on the streets, in rehabilitation centers, in homes, or wherever the Lord directs them) who are captive to addictions, and present Christ to them through sermons, weekly meetings, literature, pastoral ministrations, etc., so that one day they can say as we do: Jesus Christ is the Lord of our lives!
Transportation
Provides transportation for the brothers and sisters who are unable to get to church, so that they can congregate. This service is carried out using the vehicles of brothers and sisters who volunteer for this purpose.
Cleaning and Maintenance
The Sanctuary and its courts must always be clean and orderly, enough to invite the presence of God permanently. For this reason, this ministry takes this holy and honorable responsibility very seriously and presents it to the Lord as an offering of fragrant aroma. Its members understand that the physical cleaning they carry out on the church facilities is only a representation of the spiritual cleansing that the Spirit continually performs among His people. The only requirement for anyone called to this ministry is to bring a humbled heart, entirely surrendered to Him, willing for the Lord to be all in their life.
Youth
Gathers young people as a congregation to guide them to the feet of Jesus and into His service. It attends to their needs and concerns according to each particular case, and also alerts and instructs them in God’s eternal principles.
Restoration
Anyone who needs and wishes to be set free from all demonic oppression comes to this ministry. Through the power of the blood of Jesus, His love, and the power of the Holy Spirit, people will be set free from the power of the kingdom of darkness, whether in their mind or soul, and often in their body. Once set free, they will enjoy a full life in Christ Jesus, and so God will be able to fulfill the purpose He has for their lives. Every case is handled individually, and all information is kept strictly confidential.
Homes
A guide so that the Kingdom of God may be restored and established in each of the homes of the brothers and sisters of the faith through pastoral visits, counseling, etc.
