Praise & Worship

El Amanecer de la Esperanza – RD · Biblical Counsel

Praising and worshiping God is not an obligation, but a necessity of our spiritual being. God does not need our praise or worship, but He does seek that we worship Him in Spirit and truth, for therein lies our reason for being. God created us for the praise and glory of His name, and He is worthy of all exaltation. John 4:24 God is Spirit; and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth. Hebrews 13:15 Therefore, let us offer to God continually, through Him, the sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of lips that confess His name. Psalms 139:14 I will praise You, because fearful and wonderful are Your works; I am amazed, and my soul knows it very well. Psalms 100 Sing joyfully to God, all you inhabitants of the earth. Serve Jehovah with gladness; Come before His presence with rejoicing. Know that Jehovah is God; He made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving, His courts with praise. Praise Him, bless His name. For Jehovah is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.
